When we visit Talgarth, like staying here. The hotel is fairly clean and is welcome base for party. The venue is placed in a central position near town centre. They serve brilliant food, have lots of options to choose from.

great access to natural beauty and historical landmarks
I recently enjoyed a stay here and loved how close it was to both Talgarth Mill, just over a kilometer away, and the scenic Pwll-y-wrach Nature Reserve, only a short drive from the hotel, making my weekend walks so good.

The location was fantastic, with a friendly staff making me feel at home. The room was cozy, but not the cleanest, and didn't quite meet expectations in terms of breakfast variety. It's a decent option for a short stay, especially for the price.

Couple looking for decent stay
The free parking was a big plus, I mean who doesn't love not paying extra for that? Plus, the breakfast was a surprise, good selection of pastries and cereals and they let you take some for the road.
I wouldn't say it was a steal, the price was somewhat steep for what you get.

We enjoyed canoeing and horse riding . The relaxed atmosphere was a plus. The staff were friendly, and breakfast had a decent selection.
The shower in our room had poor pressure and would cut out unexpectedly, quite frustrating.

The cute staff provided a good atmosphere. Breakfast offered a fantastic self-service selection, including traditional bread, a treat. The room's cleanliness left much to be desired, highlighting issues like dust and a non-functional TV. The lack of direct restaurant service in the morning was disappointing, given the high price.
