This accommodation had a central setting to another pub. We got a room with a bathtub.

When we visit Talgarth, like staying here. The hotel is fairly clean and is welcome base for party. The venue is placed in a central position near town centre. They serve brilliant food, have lots of options to choose from.

I recently enjoyed a stay here and loved how close it was to both Talgarth Mill, just over a kilometer away, and the scenic Pwll-y-wrach Nature Reserve, only a short drive from the hotel, making my weekend walks so good.

The location was fantastic, with a friendly staff making me feel at home. The room was cozy, but not the cleanest, and didn't quite meet expectations in terms of breakfast variety. It's a decent option for a short stay, especially for the price.

The free parking was a big plus, I mean who doesn't love not paying extra for that? Plus, the breakfast was a surprise, good selection of pastries and cereals and they let you take some for the road.

I wouldn't say it was a steal, the price was somewhat steep for what you get.

Comfortable room, friendly proprietor, with a lovely hot shower and a great selection of breakfast options including fruit and cereals. Its convenient location allows easy access via train from Abergavenny.
